Our Specialty Sales teams are consultants who focus on guest-first experiences, strong operations, and inspiring visual merchandising. Departments include Apparel & Accessories, Home, Baby, Beauty, and Electronics. The team blends service with task execution—ensuring shelves are full, products are priced, and the sales floor is ready for shopping.
The Specialty Sales Team Leader Role
As a Specialty Sales Team Leader, you’ll gain valuable leadership and retail experience while developing skills in:
Building a guest-first culture
Understanding retail sales trends, inventory flow, and promotions
Planning and executing daily/weekly workload to hit sales goals
Leading and coaching hourly team members
Hiring, developing, and retaining talent
Key Responsibilities
Lead a guest-focused service culture by training, coaching, and modeling best practices
Create inclusive team experiences and foster equity in the workplace
Organize workload and merchandising sets (planograms), promotions, and events
Partner with vendors to uphold brand standards and maintain inventory presentation
Ensure fitting rooms are clean, welcoming, and safe
Oversee backroom organization and replenishment processes
Support with guest services such as cashiering, Order Pick Up (OPU), and Drive-Up (DU)
Model safe behaviors, ensure compliance, and handle emergency situations when needed
Create inspiring visual presentations that reflect seasonal trends
Recognize and reward team contributions while holding members accountable to expectations

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
18 years of age or older
Prior retail experience preferred but not required
Ability to lift up to 44 lbs, climb ladders, and stay mobile throughout shifts
Comfortable working in varying temperatures when supporting Drive-Up or carryout services
